At the cutting construction site, the frequency converter of the electric rope saw suddenly jumped out with a "2:0C" code, and many experienced workers' first reaction was "tripping". In fact, this is the inverter issuing an overcurrent protection alarm, indicating that the current output terminal has exceeded the safety threshold. In such situations, forcibly resetting and restarting often only treats the symptoms but not the root cause, and may even burn out the module.
According to feedback from our frontline after-sales team, the vast majority of "2:0C" incidents are triggered by the following three types of factors:
1. The acceleration time is set too short
2. Short circuit or insulation damage on the output side
3. Suggested handling sequence for motor load jamming or overload
First, cut off the power and check the external circuit and mechanical rotating parts, eliminate short circuits and blockages, and then try to extend the acceleration time. If the problem persists, please promptly record the current value at the time of the fault and contact the manufacturer's technical support. Do not test the machine with the fault for a long time.
In daily maintenance, regularly cleaning the cooling air duct of the frequency converter and fastening the main circuit wiring terminals can effectively reduce the risk of such shutdowns and make construction smoother
