Technical Tips | Three-Step Troubleshooting for Electric Wire Saw Machine Tripping on Power‑Up – Quick Fix
During construction with an electric wire saw machine, sudden tripping upon power‑up is a common issue. In most cases, it is not a machine failure but is caused by improper power distribution configuration, incorrect circuit breaker selection, or line leakage. Blindly restarting won’t solve the root cause. This article shares a practical on‑site troubleshooting process and solutions to quickly resolve tripping faults and ensure efficient construction progress.
Refer to the following three points:
1.Is the leakage protection setting of the upstream circuit breaker too low?
→ Solution: The upstream power supply circuit breaker for the inverter line must use a breaker without leakage protection.
2.Is the upstream circuit breaker model incorrectly selected?
→ Solution: Replace the upstream breaker with a dedicated motor protection circuit breaker (for miniature circuit breakers, choose Type D), rated at 100A or above.
3.Is there leakage in the equipment itself?
→ Solution: Check the equipment grounding, check for any leakage, and check for any short circuits.
If after inspection you find that any of the above issues are the culprit, simply follow the corresponding solutions, and you will quickly resolve the current tripping fault.
