The electric rope saw machine is cutting vigorously when a "7: OH" code suddenly pops up on the operation panel, indicating that the frequency converter triggers overheating protection, which is a self-protection prompt for the equipment after overheating. After the code appears, the cutting operation needs to be stopped immediately. Continuing to run with the problem can easily damage the core components of the frequency converter, resulting in higher maintenance costs and construction delays.
Based on the experience of frontline after-sales maintenance, the cause of this malfunction is concentrated in three types of problems with the cooling system:
1. The ambient temperature is too high
2. Fan damage
3. The heat sink is too dirty
To address the above issues, troubleshooting can be quickly completed: regularly clean the debris and dust on the inverter heat sink and air inlet/outlet, inspect and replace the faulty cooling fan, optimize the ventilation of the working environment, and try to avoid high-temperature and enclosed work scenarios.
