Technical Tips | Diamond Wire Saw "Bead Bunching"? Two Tips to Tell Whether It's a Working Condition Issue or a Quality Problem!
The last article explained how to check working conditions for uneven bead wear (uneven head/tail size). This time, let's look at what to check when bead bunching occurs.
First, self-check these two points:
Is the bead bunching caused by squeezing, resulting in bead deformation, cracks, or detachment?
Is there a lack of water during the cutting process?
For an accurate quality judgment, you can refer to the industry standard:
If 4 or more beads are squeezed together and the gap between beads is less than 20mm, the bead bunching can be determined as a quality problem.
During daily operations, pre-check the water supply system and cutting tension to quickly avoid failures, accurately distinguish between operational errors and product quality issues, and reduce cutting losses.
